Lummus Supply is a fifth-generation specialty building materials supplier in metro Atlanta, leading with doors, windows, and millwork, plus engineered wood and decking, for Atlanta’s finest homes, and backed by a full building materials yard since 1925.
Today, most of what we do revolves around specialty products for custom homes. But one thing has never changed. Builders deserve a supplier that plans ahead, communicates early, and helps keep the hammer swinging.

Lummus Supply began in 1925, pumping sand from Proctor Creek along Bolton Road in Atlanta. After World War II, the business grew into lumber and building materials. As custom homes evolved, so did we.
Today, the business looks different than it did a hundred years ago. Specialty work drives most of what we do, supported by the full range of building materials needed to complete the job. The goal has stayed the same: help builders keep projects moving.
Five generations of family ownership have shaped the way we make decisions. We invest for the long term. We adapt when the industry changes. We build relationships that last longer than a single project.

Robert H. Lummus Sr. founded the company, supplying sand and building materials to support the growth of the Atlanta area.

1945
The second generation joined the business, expanding operations and strengthening the company's commitment to serving local builders.

1961
The business officially became Lummus Supply Company, opened a new location on Bolton Road, and expanded into a full-service building materials supplier.

1980s
As demand grew, Lummus Supply expanded its product offerings and continued investing in exceptional service for builders, contractors, and homeowners.

Additional locations opened throughout Metro Atlanta, allowing us to provide faster service and personalized support across the region.

Will Lummus is the fourth-generation President and CEO of Lummus Supply, leading the 101-year-old family business into its next century. He is focused on smart growth, new technology, and the trusted service that has set Lummus Supply apart since 1925.
Heidi Williams
Heidi Williams is Vice President of Purchasing and a member of the Lummus family. She leads purchasing and vendor relationships to ensure Lummus Supply has the right products ready when customers need them.
Reid Lummus
Reid Lummus is Vice President of Millwork Sales and part of the fourth generation of the Lummus family. He brings deep experience in operations, sales, and millwork to help customers find the right products and keep complex projects moving.
